How long are the ribbons?

All ribbons are approximately 140cm (55") long.

As a guide, one length is typically enough for:

One hand-tied bouquet with elegant trailing ends, or
Two bouquets if you prefer to wrap the stems without trailing ends.

If you like particularly long tails or large bows, you may wish to use additional ribbon.

How much ribbon do I need for buttonholes or corsages?

For buttonholes and pin-on corsages, I generally recommend allowing around 20cm (8") per piece.

One 140cm ribbon can usually be divided into approximately four buttonhole lengths, although this will depend on your preferred wrapping style.

I'm not sure which ribbon width to choose.

Every florist has their own style, so if you're trying my ribbons for the first time, I'd recommend testing your preferred wrapping technique with a ribbon of a similar width and length that you already have. This can help you decide which width will work best for your bouquets and designs before placing your order.

Are your ribbons hand dyed?

No. My ribbons are professionally dyed to create beautifully consistent, repeatable colours.

This means you can order with confidence, knowing the shade will remain consistent across different batches—particularly helpful if you're creating multiple weddings or events, or returning to reorder a favourite colour.

How much ribbon do I need if I'm tying a bow?

As a general guide, a simple bow will use at least half of a 140cm length of ribbon.

The exact amount will vary depending on the size and style of bow you'd like to create, so if you love oversized bows or long flowing tails, you may prefer to allow extra ribbon.

How should I care for my ribbons?

To keep your ribbons looking their best:

Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight if they won't be used straight away.
If they develop creases during storage or transit, gently press them using a dry iron on the silk setting, or carefully steam them from a distance.
Avoid holding a steamer too close to the fabric, as spluttering water droplets can leave marks.
